Rebekah Ratliff

Rebekah Ratliff is a credentialed former commercial insurance complex claims professional with more than 25 years of experience evaluating, negotiating, and settling casualty claims nationally and internationally. Seeing disparities in the industry and knowing the importance of representation, she founded CCM Consulting Associates, LLC, a national executive level training and strategic diversity consulting firm. CCM works to enable industry relationships towards equitable inclusion, meaningful engagement, and retention. Known as the “Insurance Auntie,” Ms. Ratliff is committed to using her platform to provide a pathway for attracting students to career opportunities in the insurance, risk management, financial services, and legal industries through HBCU I.M.P.A.C.T.®. She is a frequent lecturer and speaker in the HBCU undergraduate and graduate spaces and provides training to students for career preparedness. Ms. Ratliff is known for her Cradle to Corporation workshop series, focused on communication styles as they relate to public speaking and networking, spoken and unspoken. She offers tips and strategies on soft skills, presentation skills, and how to build a memorable elevator speech.

Ms. Ratliff is a mediator and arbitrator with the Judicial Arbitration Mediation Service (JAMS), the first Black non-lawyer ever to be invited to join the JAMS panel of neutrals. Rebekah credits her career in insurance for the extensive subject matter expertise and transferable skill sets she developed as a claims professional for the success she enjoys as a dispute resolver. After concluding her tenure as the longest serving president of the Atlanta Chapter of the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA), she was elected to the NAAIA National Board and was appointed as its Secretary and Global Relationships Liaison. Demonstrating her international footprint, Ms. Ratliff is a contributing member of London-based networks and trade associations. She recently received the honor of diplomatic status in travel relating to a project for which she will provide training across the continent of Africa, for her capacity building work through the National Bar Association. Ms. Ratliff is an adjunct professor at Howard University School of Law. Her relationships and invitations to share her knowledge span the globe, commanding audiences from all over the world.

Ms. Ratliff is an influencer in the global insurance market and business community. Hear From Past Alumni

I’ve never seen that many companies (at the HBCU IMPACT® Fall Symposium). That really opened my eyes. It made me realize that I don’t have to stay in one state or go back home to work. There are different companies all over the world, all over America. I really appreciated that because I do believe that I don’t have to limit myself.
